Urtnasan Ankhbayar became a shaman after two of her family members died and both her children fell ill. She confessed the hardest for her was the 'study time'. Urtnasan: "I had to practise the rituals every day, but with a household and a busy job it sometimes slipped through the cracks. The spirits were merciless and punished me with a temporary speech impediment and inexplicable burns". Now she is grateful for her destiny, because with her gift she has been able to help so many people.
