According to the modern Steppe shaman Urtnasan Ankhbayar, the world consists of six dimensions, each with its own inhabitants: the underworld (lost souls), the middle world (we humans), the upper world (shamans), the eternal heaven (enlightened souls), the great heaven (99 very enlightened souls) and the 'fatherly heaven' (God, the universe). Urtnasan's grandparents live in the big heaven and can see the top: where all the information about our life path is kept. During ceremonies she can communicate with them and pass on messages to the people in the middle world.
