Anja Lofvers graduated in 1987 from the Academy of Visual Arts Minerva in Groningen. Her studio is in a beautiful location in ‘Het Paleis’.
Natural forms and hushed rugged landscapes are important themes in Anja's work. She incorporates natural materials in her paintings in which grass, leaves and fibres are visible.
When you look, you feel the quiet breathing of nature and disappear into the world of the painting....
