Each of my paintings is colorful, personal, impressionistic, and expressive. I am inspired by nature, viewed from a surprising perspective. The urge to experiment, innovate, reinvent myself and work from my heart and soul is visible in the development I am experiencing as an artist. 

Margot Maaskant finds her inspiration walking or cycling. In this way she crosses the Dutch landscape and then becomes inspired, fascinated and motivated to capture what she sees on canvas.
